I became an instructor in 1986 and over the next 16 years had the great pleasure of sharing diving with over 2,000 customers many became life long friends, and one that is now my life partner.
I have loged over 1,800 dives and more than 1,500 hours under water at dive destinations all over the world.
When I retired as an instructor in 2002 I held instructor ratings with the following organizations:

Naui Technical Insturctor
Padi Master Insturctor
SDI Insturctor Trainer
TDI Insturctor Trainer
Some of my favorite classes to share were solo diving, wreck diving, deep diving and extended range diving.
I liked all of my divemasters to be solo diving trained, the reason is simple no matter how you look at it when your are working with customers you will always at some point be with out a buddy, so you had better know how to take care of yourself.
Always remember there are old divers and bold divers but there are no old bold divers.
