Upbeat, fun, filled with great music and shot in High Definition Tank’d will inspire divers and non divers alike to get out there and experience their own great adventures. Joined by local experts and dynamic characters, the Tank’d team discover local culture, fun topside activities, dive companies and local accomodations. The recurring segment “Lifesigns” explores the health of the ocean at each destination. Working with marine scientists and conservation groups around the world, Tank’d shines light on important issues affecting our seas and it’s inhabitants. Highlighting both the success stories and the dilemmas. We hope to build better awareness and encourage people to be better stewards of our enviroment and our world’s oceans. We have already done the pilot episode and are scheduling the remaining 12 now. Fall 08′ is the final delivery date and airing start on PBS.
